Christmas Card

I stumbled on this effect when I was helping a friend design a Christmascard. It's easy and the result is stunning !

You will need PSP7 but it can be done in all versions.
A graphic of your own.
Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation

Let's get started !

Open your image resize if nescessary. Go to colors -> Grey scale. Go back to your colors and Increase color depth -> 16 milj.

Activate your Freehand tool : selection tool = freehand. Feather = 20 %, anti alias clicked.

Add a new rasterlayer and draw with your freehand tool a circle, invert your selection and floodfill 3 to 5 times with #000000 or any dark color.

Go to Effects -> plug in filters -> Xenofex 2 -> constellation with following settings.

Deselect. Add your text and other Christmas decorations and your card is ready !
