Starlite background

For those that liked the starlite background on my Christmas card here's the tutorial for it :)

You will need PSP7 but it can be done in all versions.
A graphic of your own.
Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation
Simple filters

Let's get started !

Open a new image 200 x 200. Flood fill it with a dark color other then black.

Activate your Freehand tool : selection tool = freehand. Feather = 30 %, anti alias clicked.

Add a new rasterlayer and draw with your freehand tool a circle, invert your selection and floodfill 3 to 5 times with #000000. Deselect or keep selected it will give you a different result. Try either way and which one you like best you keep !

Go to Effects -> plug in filters -> Xenofex 2 -> constellation with following settings.

Merge your layers. Go to effects -> filters -> simple -> Quick tile. If necessary apply the constellation filter a second time and done !
