We'll be making this shamrock blinkie siggie. It's the first time I made a blinkie lol I noticed I've goofed up at the top but no worries the shamrock will hide the blooper ;)

This tutorial is written for PSP 7. Outline and selections are provided, download the zip here. Unzip your supplies to the right folders.

Don't forget to save your work !

Open PSP and load your shamrocktubes. Set your foregroundcolor to #9ADA95 and your backgroundcolor to #47A044.

Activate as-shamrock big. Select your petals with your magic wand (settings RGB value - tolerance and feather 0) floodfill with #9ADA95. Invert your selection apply a drop shadow with these settings : shadowcolor = #156A0A,
Offset vertical & horizontal = 0, Opacity = 100, Blur = 10.

Add a new raster layer. Activate your backgroundcolor #47A044 and draw a few veins. If you don't like that effect you can skip this. Merge visible.

Repeat this step with the smaller shamrock.

Open a new image 150 x 150. Copy and paste your big shamrock as a new layer, name it bigshamrock. Move your shamrock a bit to the top of your image.

Add a new rasterlayer name it blinkie 1. Go to selections, load from disk and browse for your shamrocksupplies. Select 1-blinkie.sel. Floodfill your selections with #156A0A.

Add a new rasterlayer and name it blinkie 2. Go to selections, load from disk and browse for your shamrocksupplies. Select 2-blinkie.sel. Floodfill your selections with #156A0A. Deselect.

Add a new rasterlayer name it Blinkie 3, load 3-blinkie.sel and floodfill your selection with #9ADA95. Deselect.

Add a new rasterlayer name it Blinkie 4, load 4-blinkie.sel and floodfill your selection with #9ADA95. Deselect.

Add a new rasterlayer name it Blinkie 5, load 5-blinkie.sel and floodfill your selection with #156A0A. Deselect.

Activate your Blinkie 1 layer and select the inside of your rectangle, floodfill it with #C5FBBF. Do not deselect !

Add a new rasterlayer name it fill. Go to Effects - 3D effects and add a cutout with these settings : shadowcolor = #156A0A, Offset vertical & horizontal = 0, Opacity = 80, Blur = 15.

Copy and past your shamrock small and paste it as a new layer. Move the shamrock to the left upper corner of your rectangle. Duplicate this layer and mirror it. If the position of the shamrock needs adjusting do so now.

Final part add a new raster layer and add your text. Crop your image.

On to the animation !!

Open Animationshop. Go back to PSP and merge visible, copy. Undo merge !!

Activate AS and go to Edit - paste as new animation.

Hide layers blinkie 4 & 5 and merge visible. Copy.

Activate As paste after current. Of course you can save both images first if you want and then import it to AS with the animationwizard.
