Fire up your PSP, this tutorial can be done in all versions of PSP.

Remember to save often !

Open a new image 140 x 194. Set your paintbrush to : Shape = square, Size = 1, Hardness-Opacity-Density = 100, Step =25. Color = #861003 (green) - #C0C0C0 (flower petals) - #FEBD32 (flower heart).

Important uncheck your anti-alias !!

Outline your frog by using the screenshots below.

Save your work !

Once you're finished with the outline use your magic wand to select the inside of your rose. Magic wand settings are RBG value, tolerance = 0, feather = 0, sample merged unchecked.
You may want to zoom in your picture so you'll have everything inside selected. Hold your shift key if you are selecting more areas.

Select & floodfill the inside of your petals with #FFFFFF. Go to selections and invert your selection. Go to Effects and apply a dropshadow with #C0C0C0.
Settings for your drop shadow are V = -1 & H = 1
Opacity = 65
Blur = 5

Deselect and save your work !

Select & floodfill the flowerheart with #F6E0B2. Go to selections and invert your selection. Go to Effects and apply a dropshadow with #FEBD32.
Settings for your drop shadow are V = -1 & H = 2
Opacity = 65
Blur = 7
Deselect and paint a few pixels with #FEBD32 in the middle of the heart.

Save your work !

Select & floodfill the frogs head with #AACEAA. Go to selections and invert your selection. Go to Effects and apply a dropshadow with #436F43.
Settings for your drop shadow are V = 1 & H = 1
Opacity = 65
Blur = 7

Select & floodfill the rest of the body with #6A9A6A. Go to selections and invert your selection. Go to Effects and apply a dropshadow with #314331.
Settings for your drop shadow are V = 1 & H = 1
Opacity = 50
Blur = 7

Select & floodfill the flowerstem with #008000. Go to selections and invert your selection. Go to Effects and apply a dropshadow with #314331.
Settings for your drop shadow are V = 1 & H = 1
Opacity = 50
Blur = 7

Now for the face. Select the eyeballs and floodfill them with #FFFFFF. Go to Effects and apply a dropshadow with #314331.
Settings for your drop shadow are V = 1 & H = 1
Opacity = 50
Blur = 7

Select the inside of the eyes and floodfill it with #FFFFFF.

Select the tongue and floodfill it with #DBA5A5. Go to Effects and apply a dropshadow with #BD5B5B.
Settings for your drop shadow are V = 2 & H = 2
Opacity = 75
Blur = 7

Save your work and you are finished !!
