I've already made a computer desk with selections, if that's easier for you just go here. This one however is a pixel computerdesk that prefectly matches with the pixel computer unit tutorial I wrote. Up for it ? Let's get started !

Fire up your PSP, this tutorial can be done in all versions of PSP.

Remember to save often !

Open a new image 350 x 277. Set your paintbrush to : Shape : square
Size : 1
Hardness, Opacity, Density : 100
Step : 25
Color : #9DB5CB (or any color of your choice)

Outline your CPU desk by using the screenshots below :

Save your work !

Once you're finished with the outline use your magic wand to select the parts of your desk (to make it easier I've put numbers on it). Magic wand settings are RBG value, tolerance = 0, feather = 0, sample merged unchecked.
You may want to zoom in your picture so you'll have everything inside selected. Hold your shift key if you are selecting more areas.

Select and floodfill "Part 1" with #C4DCF2 ! Invert your selection and apply a drop shadow with following settings :
Shadowcolor = #8199AF - V = -1 & H = 1
Opacity = 85
Blur = 15

Deselect.

Select and floodfill "Part 2" with #C4DCF2 ! Invert your selection and apply a drop shadow with following settings :
Shadowcolor = #8199AF - V = 15 & H = - 15
Opacity = 65
Blur = 30

Deselect.

Select and floodfill "3" with #C4DCF2 ! Invert your selection and apply a drop shadow with following settings :
Shadowcolor = #8199AF - V = 15 & H = 15
Opacity = 65
Blur = 30

Deselect, are you saving your work ?

Select and floodfill "4" with #C4DCF2 ! Invert your selection and apply a drop shadow with following settings :
Shadowcolor = #8199AF - V = 15 & H = - 15
Opacity = 65
Blur = 30

Deselect.

Select and floodfill "5" with #C4DCF2 ! Invert your selection and apply a drop shadow with following settings :
Shadowcolor = #8199AF - V = 1 & H = - 1
Opacity = 40
Blur = 4

Deselect.

Select and floodfill drawers with #C4DCF2 ! Invert your selection and apply a drop shadow with following settings :
Shadowcolor = #8199AF - V = 1 & H = - 1
Opacity = 65
Blur = 4

Deselect.

Select and floodfill keyboard tray with #C4DCF2 ! Invert your selection and apply a drop shadow with following settings :
Shadowcolor = #8199AF - V = - 1 & H = 1
Opacity = 50
Blur = 4

Deselect.

Select and floodfill drawerknobs with #566878 ! Apply an innerbevel (see screenshot below)

Deselect, save your work and you're finished !!
