We are
going to make this countryhouse, fire up your PSP, this
tutorial can be done in all versions of PSP. This page is
graphics intense because of the screenshots used. Please
give it time to load :)
Remember
to save often !
Open
a new image 109 x 141. Set your paintbrush to : Shape =
square, Size = 1, Hardness-Opacity-Density = 100, Step =25.
Colors
:
- red = #800000
- green = #607860
- brown = #807358
- smoke & doorhandle = #000000
Important
uncheck your anti-alias !!
Outline
your house by using the screenshots below.
Save
your work !
Once
you're finished with the outline use your magic wand to
select the inside of your house. Magic wand settings are
RBG value, tolerance = 0, feather = 0, sample merged unchecked.
You may want to zoom in your picture so you'll have everything
inside selected. Hold your shift key if you are selecting
more areas.
Select
& floodfill the wall with #F5E1B7. Invert your selection
and apply a drop shadow with following settings :
Shadowcolor = #800000 - V = -1 & H = 1
Opacity = 50
Blur = 10
Deselect
and save your work !
Select
& floodfill the roof with #D1BF97. Invert your selection
and apply a drop shadow with following settings :
Shadowcolor = #584E38 - V = -1 & H = 1
Opacity = 85
Blur = 10
Deselect
and save your work !
Select
& floodfill the door (not the window) with #BCD4BC.
Invert your selection and apply a drop shadow with following
settings :
Shadowcolor = #607860 - V = 1 & H = 1
Opacity = 85
Blur = 7
Deselect
and save your work !
Select
& floodfill frame from the doors window with #BCD4BC.
Invert your selection and apply a drop shadow with following
settings :
Shadowcolor = #607860 - V = -1 & H = 1
Opacity = 65
Blur = 4
Apply
this to the other two windows.
Deselect
and save your work !
Select
& floodfill doorhandle with #C0C0C0. Invert your selection
and apply a drop shadow with following settings :
Shadowcolor = #000000 - V = -1 & H = 1
Opacity = 65
Blur = 5
Deselect
and save your work !
Select
& floodfill top of chimney with #F69B8C. Invert your
selection and apply a drop shadow with following settings
:
Shadowcolor = #820000 - V = -1 & H = 1
Opacity = 65
Blur = 10
Repeat
this with the remaining chimney. Select your bricks and
floodfill them with #820000
Deselect
and save your work !
Now
for the glow inside your windows ! Set your foreground color
to #FFFF80 & your background color to #FFFFFF. Select
the inside of your window and activate your gradient style.
Settings see screenshot below and floodfill your window.
Repeat this step for all the windows.
Save
your work and you are finished !! I hope you enjoyed doing
