I love cats hehe I'm sure by now you've noticed that since this is my second cat pixel tutorial. Let's start !

Fire up your PSP, this tutorial can be done in all versions of PSP.

Remember to save often !

Open a new image 81 x 184 this will give you plenty enough space to work in. Set your paintbrush to : Shape : square
Size : 1
Hardness, Opacity, Density : 100
Step : 25
Color : #846808 (or any color of your choice)

Outline your cat by using the screenshots below

Save your work !

Once you're finished with the outline use your magic wand to select the body of your cat. Magic wand settings are RBG value, tolerance = 0, feather = 0, sample merged unchecked.
You may want to zoom in your picture so you'll have everything inside selected. Hold your shift key if you are selecting more areas.

Select and floodfill your cat with #CBB877 ! Invert your selection and apply a drop shadow with following settings :
Shadowcolor = #846808 - V = -1 & H = 1
Opacity = 85
Blur = 15

Deselect and save your work !

I've added some stripes to give the cat a more tabby cat look. Apply a new raster layer and draw the stripes either in a lighter or darker color. Go to Effects - Blur - Gaussian blur : 2.00 or 3.00.
Merge visible and you are finished !
