Fire up your PSP, this tutorial can be done in all versions of PSP.

Remember to save often !

Open a new image 158 x 215. Set your paintbrush to : Shape = square, Size = 1, Hardness-Opacity-Density = 100, Step =25. Color = #000000

Important uncheck your anti-alias !!

Outline your peguin head by using the screenshots below. For the Christmas hat you'll use these colors for outline #9E2306 (red) - #F3F5B7 (broken white) - #000000 for face.

Outline your peguins body by using the screenshot below. For the bow use this color #9E2306 and for the body #000000

Once you finished the outline select the inside of the Christmas hat and floodfill it with this color : #CC7868 invert your selection and add a drop shadow using this color : #9E2306
H & V = 2
Opacity = 65
Blur = 7

Deselect.

Repeat this step with the bow. Remember to hold your shift key when you select more parts of your image. Instead of applying H & V = 2. Change this to H = -2 & V = 2.

Deselect.

Now for the fur on the Christmas hat. Select it with your magic wand and floodfill it with #FFFFFF. Invert your selection and apply a dropshadow, H & V = -4. Opacity = 65 and Blur = 7. Your shadowcolor = #BEAF7A.

Deselect.

Select the inside of your peguins head and floodfill it with #535151. Invert your selection and add a dropshadow. Shadowcolor = #000000 - H & V = 4 - Opacity = 65 - Blur = 20.

Delesect.

Repeat this step with the body.

Select the belly and flood fill it with #FFFFFF. Invert your selection and apply your dropshadow using #808080 as shadowcolor. H & V = 2 - Opacity = 65 - Blur = 5.

Select the feet and mouth with your magic wand and floodfill them with #FAD860. Invert your selection and apply a dropshadow using #8C750A. H = - 2 - Opacity = 65 - Blur = 7.

Deselect.

Save your work and you are finished !!
