Duplicate the layer 'Anita's kop outline' toggle visibility off. On your bottom layer select with your magic wand the bottom coffee cup area. Floodfill with a gradient of your choice. Make sure the gradient will give you a darker side for a 3D effect. Settings are : H & V = 50 - Angle = 90 - Repeats = 1.
Select the upper part of your cup and repeat this step.
Activate your retouch tool and select : Lighten RGB with these settings : Round - size = 32 - hardness = 0 - opacity and density = 100 - step = 25. Now you brighten up the sides of the cup a bit and the bottom of the coffee much with a few brush strokes.
Activate the copy of 'Anita's kop outline' go to select -> all -> float and floodfill with your gradient. Apply these settings : H & V = 50 - Angle = 40 - Repeats = 1.
Apply a new raster layer name it decorations and now you can start decorating your mug. Once you've decorated it, select your retouch tool : Darken RBG with these settings : Round - size = 32 - hardness = 0 - opacity and density = 100 - step = 25. Only apply this on the sides where your mug is darker, so your decoration will blend in nicely with your darker part of your mug.
