Multi-animations : we are going to make
this animated valentine heart.
Open
a transparent image 300 x. Add a new raster
layer name it "heart" and draw
a heart with your preset shapes. Add another
raster layer name it "flowers".
This is the layer we are going to work
on. Select a flower tube of your own choice.
We going to contour the heart shape with
this flower. Put one flower on the side
and duplicate your layer.
Rename
that layer to Flower2 and on that layer
put your second flower tube next to the
previous one. Then repeat each step till
you have put flowers all around the heart
shape tube.
Now
comes the tricky part, the animation.
Delete your heart layer we won't be needing
it anymore it served it purpose. We are
going to save each layer and so we can
import them in Animation Shop. Make your
layer palette a bit bigger so you would
have a better overview, do that by pointing
your mouse to a corner, an arrow will
appear and you click on the arrow and
make the palette window bigger.
Ok we going to use the red x in the layer
palette. Put a red X on all your layers
the first flower layer save that picture
as heart1.psp.
Now
you going to put a red X on the "flower"
layer and make visible layer "flow2"
and save as heart2.psp.
Continue
this step with each layer.
Phew
this was the hardest part I promise !
Now open Animation Shop and make your
animation with the animation wizard. Select
all frames and crop out your heart to
get rid of the excess canvas. Check the
speed by clicking on "view animation"
adjust it when needed. Save your animation.
Now
for the text. You can make your text in
psp or you can add your text in Animation
Shop. I made my text in psp because it
allows us to play more with effects, inner
bevels and drop shadows. Ok once you made
your text move it over to AS and duplicate
it. If your heart frame has 19 frames
your text animation will have 19 frames
too.
For
the text animation you erase each letter
starting with frame "19" towards
1. You use your eraser to remove each
letter like this
For
the flashing text effect you have a blank
frame between two of your letters text
frames like this
On
both animation's go to "Edit"
- select all. Copy your text animation
and go to your heart animation, there
you click on "paste into current
frame" and voilà your animation
is finished !! This wasn't that hard eh
?
